Nestled in the charming village of Kouklia, just 15 minutes from the lively town of Paphos, lies Liopetro Venue—the perfect rustic wedding spot. Made entirely from stone and wood, this beautiful venue offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by lush gardens and rich in history, as it’s set on ancient archaeological grounds.

Liopetro is a lovingly restored gem, based on two old farm buildings that date back to the 16th century. The renovation was carried out with great care, using only traditional materials and techniques, so it feels like a true piece of Cyprus. The venue is completely private, tucked away behind stone walls, offering exclusive access for your special day.

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that combines the rustic charm of Cyprus with delicious menus crafted from the best local ingredients, Liopetro is the place for you. Imagine exchanging vows with the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean or holding your civil ceremony in this idyllic setting. For Orthodox or Anglican ceremonies, there’s even a beautiful 12th-century church, Panagia Odigitria, just across from the venue.

While there’s no on-site accommodation, the Liopetro Wedding Suite is the perfect place for you to get ready, giving you glimpses of your wedding coming to life before you take that magical walk down the aisle.

Liopetro Venue is located in the peaceful village of Kouklia, just a short 15-minute drive from Paphos town centre and around 10-15 minutes from Paphos International Airport. It’s perfectly situated for guests flying in, making it really convenient for destination weddings.

As for accommodation, you’ll find a variety of fantastic hotels and resorts nearby. Your guests will have no trouble finding a lovely place to stay close to the venue.

Liopetro Venue offers a charming Bridal Suite / Dressing room designed to provide a serene and comfortable space for your wedding preparations. This suite is tucked away on-site, offering privacy and tranquillity, allowing the bride and bridal party to get ready in peace while enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding gardens and countryside.
The suite is tastefully decorated in a rustic, yet elegant style, in keeping with the venue's natural charm. It’s spacious enough for you and your closest friends or family to enjoy the pre-wedding excitement, with plenty of room for makeup, hair, and dressing. The suite also gives you the perfect vantage point to catch glimpses of your wedding day unfolding, so you can soak in every moment before making your walk down the aisle. It is available from 12pm until midnight, however morning can be extended at extra cost.
Despite the rustic charm, the venue is equipped with modern amenities like professional lighting, sound systems, and Wi-Fi for your convenience.
